Accessibility

The site uses semantic landmarks and a logical heading structure, labelled native controls, a visible skip link, strong keyboard focus, keyboard-operable navigation and search, responsive layouts, text resizing and reflow, and reduced-motion support.

Images include text alternatives where they communicate content and empty alternatives where they are decorative. Contact-form errors are associated with the relevant fields, and dynamic search results are announced to assistive technologies.

AEON-authored pages are checked before deployment for required metadata and content structure. Rendered pages are also checked for landmarks, headings, accessible names, image alternatives, valid ARIA references, and dialog semantics.

Accessibility is reviewed through self-evaluation, generated-output checks, keyboard-flow inspection, responsive-layout review, and contrast checks for text and interactive elements.

Automated results are useful evidence, but they do not by themselves establish complete WCAG conformance or replace testing by people who use assistive technologies.

The site’s animated transitions are suppressed when your device requests reduced motion. Some decorative graphics may still be visually complex, but the surrounding text communicates the relevant project information.

Accessibility can vary across browsers and assistive technologies. If a page or format presents a barrier, contact Alto Pelago and identify what you were trying to use. A reasonable effort will be made to correct the barrier or provide the information in a suitable alternative form.
